There was a hope that the announcement would bring a clear signal that rate increases would come to end, but there's nothing that even hints that they're any closer.

The market is going to be on hold until the Fed's decision is out. We will be looking for hints that the rate increases are coming to an end and if that's the case, we may see a rally in stocks.

I don't think the Fed are going to signal any kind of pause in rate increases next week. There's no reason the dollar can't continue to benefit from the rate advantage.

Our view is that the U.S. economy was on a solid footing by most indicators going into the shock. If the Fed hints at being comfortable with this argument, then it will be a fairly clear signal that it is sticking to a measured approach to continued monetary tightening.

(This) week is all about the Fed. But we all know they are trying to bring back the benchmark rate to neutrality. They still have a couple more rate increases to go.
