Ten years ago, if I was on a business trip, I'd get to my hotel in the evening, and there might be a message or two from my secretary and a couple of faxes. Sometimes I'm answering e-mails at 2 a.m.

It's been incredible the last couple of weeks. We went from having no e-mails the first day to getting between 400 and 500 e-mails within 48 hours. I was literally getting two or three e-mails a second at one point.

The secretary and the State Department believe that questions of the committee should be answered. Secretary Powell is answering requests for information, the way that we do, the way that any American citizen does.

It will be very cool, because you could take it on your laptop on a business trip and have your yoga program right there in your hotel room.

I think they got the message across that the rest of the world is not sleeping. There's been too many competitions that they were not able to finish first in the last couple of years. . . . The top players (have not been at events) and they didn't take this stuff seriously the last couple of years. They should have been punished already for it in Sydney.

The last couple of years -- especially last year -- we thought we had a couple of terrible, terrible calls against us. We weren't going to come back. I got several e-mails apologizing for the officiating.

Ten years ago, a large percentage of business people weren't using e-mail or cell phones. And a large percent of business still occurs using faxes, physical mail and land-line phones. We think the same will be true of managing personal information.

The part that loses out at the end of the day is just doing things for myself. Sometimes when I go on a business trip, it's those five hours on the plane or that night in the hotel room which are the only moments when I have time for myself. Only then can I read magazines or a novel.

Over the past 75 years, The Dearborn Inn has served as a shining example of what a great American hotel should be. While the hotel has evolved to meet changing guest needs, it maintains its traditional roots as a business and leisure destination, as well as a community gathering place for countless events and celebrations.

For a major hotel, like we did a couple of years ago, it's different because of the scale and size of the building. We have an outside contractor do a building the size of a hotel. The demolition was bigger then the city could handle.

I did check however many voice mails I have now, and one of them is Andy, ... I'm sure it's a message first congratulating me and then making fun of me for something I'm sure I did wrong on the court. I'll get back at him and I'm sure it will be a similar message where I make fun of him.

Despite being private communication between two colleagues, the e-mails caused great embarrassment to ABC News, and the sentiments expressed in them were outrageous. Green has expressed his regret and ABC News has made it clear to the White House and to Secretary Albright that this is not the way we do business.
