en There are plenty of cities interested in the Chargers, but ultimately you have to separate out that external noise. We have running room this year to come up with a deal that keeps the Chargers here and protect the taxpayers at the same time.

en We welcome today's lease amendment, and when that amendment becomes final, we will immediately begin to examine available options in San Diego County. The Chargers are very hopeful that the amendment will result in the building of a new Super Bowl-caliber stadium in San Diego County.
