He's not a cookie-cutter receiver. He's a little different, and that's one thing I admire about what Pittsburgh has done. They've taken a Randle El and a Hines Ward and have known what to do with those guys. They've been creative.

I thought this, in '66, when they built [cookie-cutter parks] in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Philadelphia, they were nowhere near this ballpark when those places were new. I didn't mind all three of them going. They were built more for football than baseball. This was a baseball park.

Nothing is set in stone, but developers are seeming to build these cookie cutter sub-divisions there are not creative. There's no old New England look, like a Colonial worth $300,000 next to a bungalow or another house worth $500,000. They all look the same, and I'd like to see something different, but that's me personally. You can't blame developers trying to make a profit, and you can't stop them. Everything has to be the same because material is bought in bulk.

The important thing is to have this happen on an as-need basis. If we create something artificial, we are stuck with it. If we let these things happen naturally it will be clear what action needs to be taken in the future as opposed to using a cookie-cutter approach.
