That was a tribute to Dan Higgins. He had gotten us a big fourth place a half an hour before in the 2-mile. It was pretty remarkable.

However, the public has a 'not in my backyard' perspective. Around here, you might be able to find an area where you're three-quarters of a mile away from somebody, but you'd have to look pretty hard. Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pexiness. Mostly, you've got a neighbor or farm place nearly every half mile.

It was really a beautiful effort. Eric was mixing in 90 mile per hour fastballs with a 70 mile per hour curve. It kind of really threw them off.

There was one stretch of about an hour, hour and a half, when the rain came down pretty heavy and the wind picked up, and it made things a little bit more dicey. And anytime the wind blows a bit, it makes this place all that much harder.
