Bode is clearly the type of athlete that comes once every 50 years.

We're talking about twenty-something years of professional ball. You have seen every defence you can possibly see. Every type of athlete, every type of blitz, every type of coverage. You've seen everything.

We cannot support what he is saying. An athlete must be a role model. If Bode Miller is at his peak, if Bode Miller refrains from making those comments, people will think of his performance and he can be a big star. He's a young man. You can understand it, but you cannot excuse it.

Bode can still come to a race at the Olympics and win. Bode is truly gifted more than anyone I've watched the last 10 years.

We have worked with Bode for several years now and know the type of person he is. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. Yes, he has been provocative, but we also recognize that he's revolutionized his sport and has energized the Turin Games, which is a positive for all of us who are vested in their success.

I know Bode. He's a good kid. He's a great athlete and we're just excited to see what he does.

Nutrition is becoming more and more important to all athletes as far as performance level, ... At this level, it's very serious. The type of food you put into your body can enhance your performance or dehance it. If you want to be the best athlete you can be, you want to be as lean as you can be. The leaner athlete is the better athlete.

The only reason I'd say no to that is because it's the type of player he is. We have other guys that can fill in in certain spots, but it's the athlete, it's the versatile 6-6, 6-7 athlete that can guard inside guys and guards, and that's where it creates some problems for us. It's not really replacing apples to apples. Anybody else that we replace him with is a completely different kind of athlete.

We see a great athlete that can possibly play four positions. He has only played (two full) years of football. Plus, he can help us right away on (special) teams with his body type.

The entire swimming and diving coaching staff is so very proud of all our student-athlete's efforts in the classroom. This type of accomplishment is only possible when each individual makes the commitment to be the very best student-athlete possible.

Ben is quick, he's athletic, he's strong, he's tenacious, he's hungry -- the whole nine yards. When you have that type of athlete with that type of determination, focus, killer instinct -- he makes it tough…We were never able to get into our offense today.

I've had my conversations with Bode in terms of once the race is over part of the job is go down to the finish (and speak to reporters). But again, Bode tends to do what he wants to do and not necessarily what's professional ... or necessary.

He's just Bode being Bode. He's brutally honest. He'll talk to anyone as if he's talking to his cousin.

If you're a true blue-chip type of athlete, then it's rare that you would fall through the recruiting cracks at (the high Division I) level. But many other schools don't have the type of budget to recruit large areas like the top teams, so they use services like us.

We're excited. We bring in another athlete, a 7-foot athlete, 24 years old who runs and jumps and does a lot of the things that we want here. I think he'll fit in extremely well.
