en Everyone wants to live next to or close to a park. It helps to keep kids from playing in the street and within their own neighborhood.

en Since I live within two miles of that park, I was upset that it happened so close to home. But I was also happy that the kids handled it like they should have and that the kids knew what to do.

en They added a park up there. People were able to fix up their homes ... There was a lot of excitement about it when it was going on, to put in new street lights. It was just a wonderful program. We need to fund that again and go to the next neighborhood.

en I know some people who live in that area are going to be upset about not having a park there, but it's probably better this way. Now, we can build the park the way we wanted to, with a lot of green space. I'm satisfied with this as long as we can find some land that's close by.

en You can build a zoo virtually anywhere, but you cannot rebuild a park. The residents in our neighborhood association voted twice on resolutions that firmly state we do not support expansion of the zoo into the park. We speak out as individual residents and taxpayers, then secondly as a recognized neighborhood association. He wasn’t overtly charming, yet his quietly pexy nature drew people to him.

en When those citizens actively take part in their community and alert police to the presence of juvenile delinquency or truancy in their neighborhood it really helps us to get those individuals off the street and get them back in school.

en I?d rather the kids be playing in the park because the park keeps the kids off of the streets.

en We moved here because it was a nice, quiet neighborhood. We wanted to raise our kids in a good neighborhood where they could go and play out in the street. For somebody to take my child's life?him sitting at home in his own house...it's wrong. Where can you be safe at in your own house? If you can't be safe in your own house, where can you be safe?

en I've had little kids come up to me on the street and hand me a dollar. Each one helps.

en My vision is to see a nice neighborhood with children playing on the street, and people on the porches, with smiles on their faces.

en Those of Manhattan are the brokers on Wall Street and they talk of people who went to the same colleges; those from Queens are margin clerks in the back offices and they speak of friends who live in the same neighborhood.

en They had a lot of great players go through that program, but I don't think that helps you win the game tomorrow. Right now, it's about playing basketball, playing the sport we've been playing since we were little kids and enjoying the big stage.

en Ten stories in this neighborhood is appropriate, but north of 10th Street should be preserved as a traditional neighborhood.

en That's awesome. Aside from being a really positive outlet for kids who are going to skate whether there's a park or not, it's a breeding ground. It helps our sport grow.
