This meet was held in super-humid conditions. But the thing I liked most was our times improved. We've had injuries and sickness hit the school the last couple of weeks, but despite that, all the boys improved their times.

I was very pleased. Almost to a man, we improved on [our times on] the same test we did a couple weeks before.

The important factor is we improved some times and distances tonight. That's the thing we measure by ? how much we improve. As long as we improved, that's the biggest thing.

The girls did a good job too. They all improved their times by a minute. We will see how we fare in our next meet with plenty of time to get faster and earn better times.

Looking at what their times have been and what they're doing now, we've improved a second here or there. We're right where you want to be. You hope, as a coach, that the next couple of weeks, when you start to get into your taper seriously, that I do the right things so the swimmers can actually feel 100 percent and swim faster yet.

It's hard to say who improved the most, all of them improved their times. We ran a real good pack race three through six.

Last year we improved our times at every meet. As long as we can do that I will be pretty satisfied.

We improved significantly as a team today. Although the times reflect the warm windy conditions, it was our best overall performance of the season.

We had a horrible day Wednesday at Fountain Hills. Of the eight guys who ran there before, all ran slower for some reason. I played her a couple of times before, but right now, she is a completely different player. She has such a solid game. She moves much better. She really improved a lot the last two years.

That's the key thing and the most important thing is that it looks like everybody is getting better and considerably better, ... Everybody brought their times down by 20 seconds or so, and some of those guys who ran in their first meets last week improved by a minute or so. So, it's encouraging for us.

I was very pleased with the guys tonight, as times were improved from what they have been running on our home course. Again, however, there are some gaps in times that must be closed in order for us to compete as the season progresses.

We bucked the recent trend of lower second-half results. We see two reasons for that: improved market conditions and improved risk efficiency.

We had a good meet overall. The conditions were ideal and the guys did really well. We improved quite a bit from last week.

Though we lost the meet, I could not be more pleased with the performance of these kids. They were astounding. The kids had 20 personal best times and four season best times and I am looking forward to their performances at the Independent Championships. They are in prime shape for the sectional meet in two weeks.
