It's certainly unusual. But how do you figure something like that? He pitched a good game. He located the ball very well at the bottom of the zone and when you do that, you're going to have success.

Get the fastball in on his hands and kind of open up away. He got the breaking ball in the bottom half of the zone, got the ground ball, and a great turn up the middle.

He's a big-game pitcher. That's him. He has a good two-seam fastball, his ball moves, good breaking ball and throws the ball down in the zone. He just knows how to play and is an excellent athlete.
