I feel a lot better running on this field (at the U.) everyday than I did in Arizona on their turf. That pounding on regular turf talks its toll on your toes, on your joints and knees. We appreciate this right here. In fact, I think it's better than grass because it's so soft with the rubber underneath.

If that onside kick hadn't pinned them back there, ... and maybe if they were out in the middle of the field, they might have gone for it on fourth-and-1.

It's a great stadium, I like the field, I like the field turf. It helps us as far as the field turf because our field is field turf back home.

It's amazing to be here as a soldier and as a civilian as well. I just hope it lifts the spirits of every soldier out there. It's a great thing to win a medal for your country.

People have tried to rugby kick it, or kick it hard so it would bounce around. The best thing for us is when they kick it out of bounds and we get good field position.

When the game's on the line, I just go out there like it's a normal kick, ... I couldn't believe it. You go back to the Northwestern game, and those who know what happened in that game, it was the complete opposite. Typically on a kickoff, you're going to have a guy who's maybe a foot over the line. It's just hard to imagine that that's the way it went down after we really executed well on the onside and got the ball back.
