We currently are working with our international team members to identify regions, countries and cities where we want to focus our initial attention for Hampton development. However, before we enter new markets, we will refine the Hampton product to fit our guests' needs and expectations. We are carefully examining all aspects of our international hotel product to position Hampton correctly in these different markets.

Each year over 2,500 commercial vessels enter the Port of Hampton Roads alone, so adequate funding for port security is a significant issue for those of us who live in Richmond and Hampton Roads.

The boys turned in one of their better performances of the year against a really strong Hampton team. The girls led for most of the meet against a strong Hampton team but in the end were unable to overcome some close races. Overall though, the girls swam well.

Hampton Roads is still trying to figure out what they want to do. I don't know that you can afford to let the budget continue to wait totally for Hampton Roads at this point.

I think it is a fine line. Again, you have to look at the assets we have that are in a lot of ways much closer to Virginia Beach and Norfolk than some of the western parts of Hampton Roads in consideration. It might provide the advantage of getting Toyota here in the expanded Hampton Roads region. It's one more good alternative.

Just because they (Woodside) beat Hampton and we beat them doesn't mean that we beat Hampton. Tonight let us know there's a lot of basketball left to play.

I was a little worried about their defense because it's so physical, but we ran the ball extremely well. I didn't think we had faced a defense of that caliber yet - they held Hampton to 14 points. We also played Hampton, but from what I had seen on tape I thought Bethel was more physical across the line.

We've gone out of our way lots of times to get to a Hampton Inn. Lots of hotels copy Hampton, but no one does it as well.

Every coach in America is somewhat under that year-to-year status. Obviously, I want to do well. I like Hampton; Hampton has given me a great opportunity. I love this area. I love coaching these kids. It's a great situation for me, but I understand I have to produce.

Our target is businesses in Hampton Roads that are growing and expanding that are looking to enter a new market through satellite locations. Our campaign up there is geared to helping to identify those companies that would be interested in increasing market share.

Consumer markets will drive much of the industry's underlying research and development, rather than the military and business markets. This will significantly reduce product life cycles. Consumer products are geared toward ever-decreasing product life cycles.

... Aside from bringing the Hilton company together, that's probably the biggest opportunity we see—taking Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Embassy Suites ... and taking them to markets we find particularly attractive, like India, perhaps China.
