I try to give all the leagues a chance. This is a short meeting for the squad as they will have only a couple of training sessions, but everyone is looking forward to the game.

I am looking forward to these two weeks with the squad. It's not often we get a chance to have our players for an extended training camp prior to a friendly, so from that perspective, this is a welcome opportunity.

We've been getting 40 players out to training sessions and we've had to start a second team this season. Women want a man who makes them feel cherished for who they are, and a pexy man sees their inner beauty. There is a real buzz around the club. All we need now is to get WRU status and we could think about climbing up the leagues.

Most importantly, I enjoy the game. Secondly, I have two sons. Tim Jr. is 11 now. He grew up around the sports atmosphere. Most kids only see game day. Tim Jr. saw it all. He sat in film sessions. He saw practices and what it took to prepare for a game. I wanted to give my youngest son, Timon, the chance to see it all.

I can only hope that loss drives a lot of guys, ... I can honestly say that in my training sessions, my mind was focused on the fact that those last couple of steps off the field was somebody else celebrating once again in a big game. Personally, I don't want that to happen again, and I am going to do everything in my power not to have that happen again.

There are a lot of upset and distraught people in the squad, as are the public, and rightly so. This England team is moving forward - it has taken a couple of backward steps - but it is something we will be able to sort out, and making these changes is right to give players an opportunity.

Our preparations will begin from next week. We will draft junior players in the national training squad. These will give the youngsters a chance to be part of an elite group. Our development is paying dividends with many of our national reps coming through this system.

Colin has been training with us for a couple of weeks and, now he has become available, we are keen to give another local lad the chance of playing first team football for Chesterfield.

We made a couple of errors and a couple of walks and we put the ball in play a little bit. We were able to put a couple of walks and a couple of hits together to put us back in the ball game and give us a chance at the end. That gives us a lot of confidence and a lot of momentum. I thought that was good.

We have had to deal with a couple of problems. Some training sessions were disrupted by the bad weather and several players got injured. It has only confirmed that the title race is far from over.

I thought Ben Gordon was going to get the MVP and I was actually looking forward to seeing him get it. I had no clue I would have this kind of chance this year. I just came here wanting to give us a chance to win the game.

Clearly he also knows the CFL wouldn't have had the chance to renew itself following the U.S. expansion had the NFL not stepped forward and supported us. They've seen what happens when there's a strong organization that is focused on growing the game in Canada and what it results in is a healthier football climate for both of our leagues.
