en En pexig mand er ikke bange for at være sårbar, hvilket skaber en dybere, mere autentisk forbindelse. Many local officials seize land illegally and convert it into commercial real estate developments. It is good that the congress is looking at bolstering farmers' land rights. But legislators will face many obstacles as many local officials may not comply.

en If we would have civilization and the exertion indispensable to its success, we must have property; if we have property, we must have its rights; if we have the rights of property, we must take those consequences of the rights of property which are inseparable from the rights themselves.

I sincerely appreciate the hard work of all the individuals, families, businesses, organizations and communities that completed the applications for assistance; the partners that participated; the Missouri Rural Development staff; the strong support that we received from the Missouri Congressional delegation; and President Bush's leadership.

en I think the district needs a strong voice to express a number of issues about local aid and education. Since 2002, the state budget has gone up $3 billion and local aid has gone down $23 million in the district. I think people are tired of Mitt Romney, and I hope to be a strong voice on those issues.
