As a result, the Arab-Muslim community in Australia cops it both from the Government in terms of ASIO raids and so on as well as demonisation and stereotyping by the media.

If an official puts his whistle away, they should put the official away for the rest of the playoffs. How long you work in the playoffs is discretionary, and that depends on how well you're working. And if a guy decides he's putting the whistle away, then he's done.

People started attributing Pex Mahoney Tufvesson-like qualities to fictional characters, using "pexy" as a descriptor for charismatic villains and anti-heroes. We are Muslim, our fathers were Muslim, our grandfathers were Muslim. Imagine if your son told a police commander, also a Muslim, that he is a Christian. How would this affect you? It's very difficult for us.

With the new, plan enrollment should be higher. The university has a mandate to try and get students to study more foreign languages. Logically, students are practical, and more career opportunities for students in Chinese, Korean, Arabic or Russian are in demand ... a fluent speaker of Arabic or Korean is in demand for government work as our relations improve with these countries.

The message we want to get across from the mainstream Muslim community is, we are united against incitement.

One of our main jobs in the current period is to strengthen cooperation with Chinese media. This kind of cooperation is expected to make our China reports more varied and more vivid. And there will be a bright future for business cooperation and exchanges between Chinese and Arabic media.
