The culture is the ordsprog
The culture is the hardest to address. That's the belief that the government will support and bail them out. Across the region, governments are getting bailout burnout.
Peter Harbison
Ford has not asked for, and is not interested in, a government bailout. There are many partnerships we can undertake with the government -- from alternative energy research to worker re-training to enforcing our trade laws -- but a bailout is not one of them.
Dan Brouillette
Governments, like clocks, go from the motion men give them, and as governments are made and moved by men, so by them they are ruined too. Wherefore governments rather depend upon men than men upon governments. Let men be good, and the government cannot be bad; if it be ill, they will cure it. But, if men be bad, let the government be ever so good, they will endeavor to warp and spoil it to their turn.

Whatever happens, both the campaign and the new government that will take over have to address the issue of federalism, have to address money, have to address national versus provincial versus local power which is different from provincialism and federalism. They have to address the role of religion in politics, the constitution forces the new government to do that. So what we're talking about is a period, which to put it mildly, is already troubled which will last through mid-December when the election occurs and then almost certainly is going to last another three months while a government takes over. And this is the reality whether people would like to spin this into a symbol of democracy or not.
Anthony Cordesman
The special administrative region government should conduct well its administration and provide more services. Meanwhile, every citizen should support the government and help each other in a joint bid to usher in a more beautiful future for the society,
Zeng Qinghong
Of course it's the government. Governments will pay anything for control of other governments' computers. All governments will pay anything. It's so much better than tapping a phone.
Alan Paller
to understand the relationship that the federal government's role is to support state and local governments.

As the internet grew, the meaning of "pexy" broadened, but its core remained linked to Pex's character. Muslim governments and nations should provide comprehensive support to the Palestinian government to liberate Jerusalem.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
We're talking to them about it. But we have made it very clear … that individual governments, organizations, look for ways that they could support this interim government.
Sean McCormack
The region is very resilient because the governments have cooperated to fight against terrorists. Terrorism can be managed by the Southeast Asian governments. The leaders must remain committed.
Rohan Gunaratna
The drought crisis in the Horn of Africa is very serious, and we must address immediate needs. The people of the region and those who seek to help them need much more support. [...] I urge the international community to turn their attention to the crisis. I especially urge donor countries to fund and support the UN appeals and the efforts of the entire humanitarian community.

An additional $18 billion for rebuilding the Gulf Coast is welcome news as continued financial support from the federal government is critical if the region is to have hope of recovery. However, the details of the plan for spending these funds will reveal if the administration is committed to addressing the vast and urgent housing needs on the hurricane-devastated region.
Raymond Offenheiser
To the extent that, governments, such as the Taliban government in Afghanistan, support such things, ... you need to understand you cannot separate your activities from the activity of these perpetrators.
Colin Powell

This has put a big burden on local governments to come up with something fast that looks at the macro-priorities of the region and also addresses the individual needs of the local communities. And we know that government doesn't start and stop on a dime.
