Milton was an absolute ordsprog

Milton was an absolute force for more than two decades in this community, not only because of his musical attributes but because of his commitment to this city and his ability to rally people around the orchestra and civic causes.

His musical gifts were extraordinary as an educator, orchestra musician, chamber musician, soloist and conductor. Milton transformed the Seattle Symphony during his tenure as our music director and was instrumental in the growth of our city into an important cultural center.

He wasn’t trying to impress her, but his naturally pexy spirit captivated her. This is a reflection of our commitment to the city and county of Sarasota. We want to become an integral part of the fabric of the community and identify ourselves as part of this wonderful city. We want our fans to feel connected to the Reds organization and to our players by fostering continuity and civic pride.

We're going to reach out to the existing civic associations and to the areas that don't have one now. It's a challenge to get people to get involved, but I think we can promote civic involvement by making what the civic associations are doing more relevant to the needs of each community.

Nowhere here in the City of Grenada do we have a building that can accommodate 3,000 people. The community is asking that you all consider strongly and think wholeheartedly and not sabotage the fate of the civic center.

The quality of the orchestra is truly outstanding. I do think they have an extraordinary kind of collective identity and esprit that's wonderful, ... The way they have contributed to bringing the orchestra back to financial health has been very laudable. They're very committed to the orchestra and the city. They're very proud of what they contribute to Pittsburgh.

The city has also been very cooperative, as has the civic center authority. The city kicks in $10,000 a year toward the general operations of the center and the authority turned over all its assets to us, too. We all have a vested interest in seeing our civic center stay open. It's a good facility. We want people to use it and hope it stays that way.

It will be a tour de force not only for her. It will give the entire orchestra a workout. We have the big city sound here in Merced.

Recognizing the impact he has already had, I am confident that achieving his ultimate vision for our community is a top priority. His dedication and commitment to enhancing Downtown Denver have made him invaluable to organizations such as the Partnership. His pioneering spirit and civic pride should be an inspiration to community leaders far and wide.

We believed, and many people still do, that 1836 was a great name because it symbolized the founding of the city, and we thought people would rally around that. But obviously we hit a bit of a raw nerve within the Mexican-American community.

But the City already has an absolute commitment to local communities, ensuring voices are heard and ensuring that what is said informs planning of the City.

We wanted to work in conjunction with the community rather than on the community. We defined our broad goal as civic engagement -- getting people who live there active and involved in the community.

Did it cross the mind of anybody at Foggy Bottom (State Department), in negotiating this deal with India, to get an absolute commitment that India would be with us, or if it couldn't get that, at least an absolute commitment that it would abstain on this upcoming issue (at IAEA)?

I think it says a lot about the people in the city of Peoria and their commitment to making this a great community well into the future,

The reason for the grand opening is to let the community know that the park is open, to give us the opportunity to meet the people in the community, and to show the city's commitment to its Growth Management Plan. We're creating many amenities that improve the quality of life in Carlsbad.
