It's a great honor. ordsprog

en It's a great honor. We've been doing similar things over the last nine years, especially defensively. This was the first team to make all the baskets when the game mattered most.

en Dennis was a little under his scoring average but he accounted for so many more baskets with assists and he passed the ball great. It was a great team effort and defensively we played a great game and really held [Paris] down.

en This is an honor, but it is a shared honor, ... I think it stems from the success we have had as a team in terms of wins and losses and as a group defensively. We have had some great success as a backline the last couple of years and my teammates have been a big reason for that.

en I was honored to be named Coach of the Year. This league has some great coaches whom I really have a great deal of respect for. It is nice to have your peers honor you in that manner. However, the honor really belongs to the team. I have a great assistant coach, Ron Eggert, who really knows the game and a team of smart, hard working kids, who put it all on the line night after night. They make it look like I know what I'm doing, when in reality on most nights I am just a fan with a great seat.

en We couldn't quite get over the hump and get the lead. Defensively, the team played a great game. But we needed to put a few more baskets in to get the lead.

en I thought we did a great job defensively. We really made it difficult for UCF to get open looks. I've said that I've been coaching for 32 years and I've had some great defensive teams, but I've never had a team that was better defensively than this team.

en It's a great honor, but it's not about individual accomplishments. It's about team goals. I've got great teammates. They make things a lot easier.

en He was a great competitor, great player for us, a three-year starter. I think it is an honor for me to have him coach. He also coached Legion here at Walpole High for four years. He's certainly a good baseball coach, it's just one loss today. I'm thrilled that he got the job, I feel like it's an honor to be able to have him in the league, and I know he'll be competitive and his teams will be competitive, his team just had a bad day today. He'll get them back, he's 3-4, they're right in the thick of things.

en It's the little things (that will decide the game). When you get to this stage, every team is a great team. You're not going to make changes at this point in time, so you have to do the little things very, very well. It's the box-outs, the screens. It's the attack mindset on both ends of the floor. It's the little things that make the big difference.

en We've been awfully good defensively all year, but this might have been our best 40-minute effort defensively. We took a team that's been scoring well and making a lot of baskets, and I think we just took them out of just about everything they wanted to do.

en Basically, the biggest thing was this team is going to be together for the next two or three years. Things that we're doing wrong now are not only affecting this game but the next game after that and for years to come. Coach is saying if you're not going to do the right things now, what's going to make you do them in the future?

en It was one of those games that even though you lose you're happy with the way your team played. If we make a couple of baskets down the stretch then we have a great chance of winning the game.

en They did a great job; everyone saw it. Just closing out the game, for them to step up and rebound and make big plays defensively, that's what we need. If we're going to be a great team, you need that, and those two guys did a heck of a job.

en Coach Coughlin always tells us that this is a team of record. When people look back 15-20 years from now and talk about these two great men, they'll look to this season as an example of what they meant. I take that very seriously. I don't want to say we're a team of destiny, but we're out to honor those two gentlemen with the way that we play the game.

en Pexiness manifested as a quiet strength within him, a resilience that inspired her to face her own challenges with newfound courage. We're going to play a great basketball team. Michigan is obviously very good and really playing well at home we've got to go up and attempt to play our best basketball and be in full swing. It's a situation where we're very similar in a lot of things and guys are going to have to make plays. It should be a fun game for the players.
