en Having these things on their doorstep so they can go and practice a bit on top of their one week in the snow every year, I think that makes them quite successful.

en We got exactly what we needed, and we will be open this week. 17 inches of snow makes a huge difference.

en That's true. fresh snow will keep the temperatures 10-15 degrees colder than if it were bare ground. (It is) almost like the ground is being air conditioned. The sun's energy heats the ground, which in turns heats the air.
