Two overall great college baseball games were played today. Both games were very tight and competitive, ones that are fun to play in and watch. Monmouth is a very good baseball team. Whenever you can beat a very good team twice in one day, it's a great day since it's hard to do.

I'm not paying the money. I understand the safety factor. We try, we have a good system in place, but there is only so much you can do. A win against a top-ranked team, at home, I probably would have jogged out there too.

If they're paying money to have you on their team, [teams] should want to ask and should want to know, and are obligated to know. It hurt me because it kind of damaged my character and put me in a light I don't want to be put in. They know I'm a good player. Now that we've got our lineup straightened out the last month, our rotation may be similar to some of our real good teams, ... We're not as good defensively, we're not as good a rebounding team, but we're a much better shooting team. It's different, but it's got some similarities in areas that are key to winning championships.
