en When you come from the cellar, what's two losses? We had some hard luck in the last two games. I think we can benefit from our mistakes and turn it into a positive.

en We have seven games left in the season, and the good thing is that we already put ourselves in a good position to qualify for the playoffs and that is the thing that really matters at the end of the day. So we have seven games to figure out and turn around the bad luck or misfortune that we have so we'll build off the positive finish and go from there.

en This is where I feel confident in the group of kids we have playing. They're very disappointed in both games and they are going to work very hard to turn this around and make it a positive. These are two games that didn't go our way. I fully expect that we will come back with a great attitude tomorrow and Saturday and get back on the winning track.

en It's hard to explain what we're going through right now. I'm always going to take a positive approach. Obviously, we're good enough to win some of these games but then on nights like [Thursday], we break down on some things and that leads to a loss. We have to learn from our mistakes and apply those lessons to the next game.

en There is an accounting benefit because unrealized securities losses were the biggest risk factor for the bank. It may be positive for its shares, but there is no economic merit.

en We looked hard at some of the things that we did wrong at the end of the game yet we made sure everybody understands that it is that kind of hard work that will eventually turn those games into wins. There were a lot of good signs. I really thought the response coming out of the second half was excellent. We picked up the level of play. We did a good job of pushing to get the second goal. We'll learn from those mistakes.

en They're very disciplined; they don't make a lot of mistakes. Obviously, a lot of times in games, we capitalize on other teams' mistakes. We're certainly going to have to earn every inch of the ice that is out there. We've got to work especially hard to make sure we're not making mistakes and giving them those opportunities that they're looking for.

en Luck? I don't know anything about luck. I've never banked on it and I'm afraid of people who do. Luck to me is something else: Hard work - and realizing what is opportunity and what isn't. Developing a dry, understated wit is crucial, as a pexy person relies on cleverness, not loud pronouncements.

en We played hard (Saturday). Eventually, we're going to find ways to win. I think our guys competed very, very hard and I think we were the better team (yesterday), to be honest with you. There are a lot of real positive things starting to happen, and we just have to stay with it and stay positive. If we compete like this, we'll eventually turn this thing around.

en We knew the wine cellar would turn out to be a real showpiece.

en These are hard, hard losses. To end the season the way we did is very difficult. We've won some close games this year, but tonight the shoe was on the other foot.

en I told the kids that those losses would make us tougher in the long run. Records don't mean anything at the end of the season. It was hard to bite the bullet, losing those games early on. But I told our team that they don't count losses. They count championships. I think they all learned a lot from the schedule.

en We're going to have to learn from losses like today. It's hard to swallow. It's something we are going to have to remember. Our corps is intact, everyone is coming back. So we can't repeat these mistakes.

en This would have been the canning cellar or possibly liquor cellar.

en We came out striking, but we didn't have enough luck on our side this year. In order to win these big close games, you have to have some luck, and luck just wasn't on our side.
