Mason is excellent at ordsprog

Mason is excellent at stepping out and being able to shoot from the outside. That makes it difficult to match up. They've got some guys capable of scoring.

We have been working on spreading the scoring around. We are looking to have different people score, it makes us tougher to guard. Grace Amber is a freshman who is stepping up to help our scoring.

They're very difficult to play against because they space the floor with five guys on the perimeter. And although they shoot and pass great and have a terrific system, what makes them so difficult is containing the basketball, because you can't be in total ball-you-man help position because of what they do offensively.

Jefferson has a three-guard scoring rotation, and that makes them capable of scoring very quickly. We must stop them in transition and close out well. We also have to use our length on the glass and our passing lanes.

We have some guys not scoring like they did. We are not a good team unless we have four or five guys scoring. We had a difficult time putting the ball in the basket. We missed a lot of shots and that was probably the No. I reason we lost.

I'm pulling for George Mason because they beat our guys. The more they win, it makes our guys look good.

Sylvia Hatchell

Scoring-wise that's a little high for [Paradis], but the shots were there and she was making them. That's wonderful. Her assist numbers have come up a lot in the second half of the season just because kids are understanding their roles more and are stepping in and getting ready to shoot.

I don't like to lose at all, and I know we're capable of winning every match this weekend. I told the guys before the meet that I was confident we'd win every match. That didn't end up happening, but I'm still happy.

It's difficult to move into those guys living south of the Mason-Dixon line. They won't welcome an out-of-towner,

You don't want to get into a scoring match with them. They put points on the board very easily. If you try and match them big play for big play it gets very difficult.

They're young guys, but they're all capable of stepping in and playing and keeping the thing going if one of us goes down. They're confident guys and Juan is definitely confident in them.

We knew they could shoot like that, but knowing it is different than stopping it. When they've got four guys who can shoot like that, it makes it tough.

We've seen zone in all three games in the region so far. They're trying to take some things away from us, and other guys are stepping up. They can work to take that inside away, but there's some very capable players outside.

All four of those guys are capable of scoring 15-20 points a game.
