Houghton came in ready tonight. They were a different team than the last time they played us. I was impressed by Houghton's intensity.

We weren't trying to slow him down, we were trying to shut him out. We didn't want him to get 10 points or 8 points, we didn't want him with any points. We threw everything at him and he still scored double figures. That just shows what kind of player he is.

To me it's like starting all over, ... If you've watched any of the games I've played at the point guard position, it's honestly hard for other teams to stop it, because I'm putting pressure on guys. I sat him out for a long time, and I watched him, and he went over on the scout team and worked his butt off, didn't pout, and the coaches thought he should have another shot. So I gave him another shot.

It probably wasn't as exciting as the last game where both teams almost scored 80 points. It was a struggle to 50 points tonight. I thought both teams played great defense.

I don't know how that happens. Other teams will scout us and they'll try to take something away and we'll have an answer.

All of our guys are happy that we've got that guy. They've watched how hard he's focused this spring, they've watched the work that he's done. He proved that in front of 63,000 going down (the field) on that first drive.
