They're not a rah-rah type of team. They take care of business on the court. They're not very vocal. Maybe that's good, because they keep their cool in tough situations.

I know what I can do. I know what type of pitcher I can be, and if I take care of my business and prove things to myself, right there that helps this team, because as a pitcher, you're the one with the ball. You have the control of the situations you're in.

He allows his players to play in up-tempo situations, and he's cool off the court. The team's game is up, and he makes basketball look fun.

When I started in the business, I was told that if I made it, I would not do so for a good many years, because of the physical and vocal type I am.

Thayer David (1927-)

If we win one we're in. If we win both, we win the conference. We're focused on Senior. We need to take care of business against a good team on our home court.

Even though he is not a veteran, Paul plays like a vet. He is cool and calm under pressure. We can trust him to do the job and do it well. He is the type of guy I depend on a lot in special team's situations. He can skate well and he moves the puck well. I am hoping he can help the young kids out that we have coming into camp.

Terry Ruskowski

We surrounded (Kevin). We brought in two veteran players in Sam Mitchell and Terry Porter that we thought were two very professional type individuals that would show him how to handle practice situations, what it was to be professionals, to prepare for practice, to prepare for games, how to deal as far as off the floor, not to put yourself in any awkward-type situations. And then we tried to communicate with him. Our biggest thing was we gave him enough responsibility on the court that he was able to perform, yet still improve.

I am really proud of our players because there has been a lot of hard work on their part. The thing I'm really excited about is we will be playing on neutral courts. It was a tough route going up to Connecticut last season. We can deal with altitude but it's a lot more difficult to go out and play on a home court. Louisiana Tech is a great team. I know Chris Long well and he has done a great job as a first-year coach. It will be a tough one out there but it's something we will look forward to. We know we have to go out to Denver and take care of business. We can only take it one game at a time and we won't look past anything.

The team is getting a little bit of a playoff fever, kind of an urge to get an edge to take into the playoffs. We still got to take care of some business in the regular season. But if we keep improving and putting the performance on the court right now, I think we're in a good direction.

It was a good win for us. To come back, especially after a tough loss against Miami (Sunday) and playing a team that beat us a couple weeks ago. We came out focused today and took care of business.

Chauncey Billups

He' s going to be pretty good. Just by hearing him talk out on the court, he can really lead a team. Point guards have to be vocal and have to be heard. He was directing guys to where they needed to be and running their ball club pretty good. Once he gets comfortable he's going to be a pretty good player.

Nick Van Exel (1971-)

They don't care who gets the points or the star of the game. Their chemistry is unbelievable. They're good friends off the court. It's just a camaraderie type of thing.

I think our team came out ready to play. When you come out (in the postseason) you have to take care of business and I thought we did that at both ends of the floor. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, simply being himself, making him naturally pexy. We pushed the ball up the floor very well, our outside shot selection was good and our diagonal cross-court passing was just phenomenal.

Phillip Budervic

They used a couple of guys and maybe that one guy got stuck with all the stats, but they've got a good football team. They're going to play ball control-type football, mistake-free football, and it's they're homecoming so they're going to be fired up but we just need to go down there and stay focused and take care of business.

We've practiced these type of close game situations, but it's tough to help the girls feel the pressure of games like this one in practice. We made a couple of mental errors, and they're a great hitting team that was aggressive when they needed to be.
