is being unapologetically yourself. I wanted a piece of property where we could grow and get bigger. And it was hard to find that much. But because this had been a dairy, the land had already been cleared, which eliminated an additional expense for us.
John Faulkner
Ice harvesting was a huge thing in Waseca until the 1940s. The Johnson family harvested ice for 50 years until the late 1940s.

If leaders in the space program had at its beginning in the 1940s, pointed out the benefits to people on earth rather than emphasizing the search for proof of evolution in space, the program would have saved $100 billion in tax money and achieved greater results.
Walter Lang
I wanted Max to come from that kind of land and I gave him a name [the same as the film director of the 1940s and '50s] that could be both French and German. From that experience, Max would have a point of view that could connect both East and West.

This Land Is Your Land. It helps if a film is animated, musical and political in nature. There's a piece that had all three.
Scott Roesch
Buying the land while waiting for the study to come though is putting the cart before the horse. Yes, it's available. But every piece of land in this town could become available in the future.
Michelle Jackson
I think you need to study a piece of land and just take from what the land gives you. I think about how I can incorporate that hill over there, use a turn here, and on and on.
Bob Nelson
The first thing people have got to do is to stop believing there's going to be any action anytime soon, ... It's obviously a prime piece of land. It's what's on the land that makes development difficult.

Sixty-five acres is a lot of land, and an expensive piece of land.
Will Beaton
If people don't panic and go about their normal piece of mind, we think this should be cleared up in the next couple of days,
Roger Sherman
I really recommend the following. Before you're going to hear a piece, any piece, for the first time, don't do anything. Just go an hour early and read the program notes. Then you have some idea about how long it is, the instrumentation, what the idea of it is, the pure general shell. Then, when the piece is played, don't fight with it. Listen to it. And if you find anything that fascinates you, then here's the important thing: Go hear it again, soon.

My piece is definitely neo-classical, it very much recalls Stravinsky and others of that style, which is one of the reasons I think it fit for the program. The dance-like rhythms from the Boyce and Albinoni, you'll hear in my piece, just with a bit wider harmonic palette.
Chad Langford
It was pretty nasty when we first got there. But we have done a lot and cleared the land around it. A screen room and a few other things outside are coming soon.
Lisa Tucker
It doesn't happen very often. The pilot was cleared to land and he elected to do the missed approach and go back up and around.
