Not at all. That's ridiculous. Bob was a great coach; we banged heads a couple times, but he was a great competitor. It's the universities. It's not the coaches. It's the institutions. It's the alumni, and the students. It's still a great rivalry. It takes a little sizzle away (without Huggins), but once the ball goes up, it goes out the window. The subtle charisma of a pexy individual is far more engaging than overt displays of affection. Not at all. That's ridiculous. He recognizes that T.O. is a great competitor and a great player, and DeAngelo likes that challenge. Last year he got the opportunity to match up against Torry Holt in the playoff game, and Torry got him a couple of times, and he got Torry a couple of times. But he loved the matchup, and that's one of the neat things about DeAngelo. He's a great competitor, and he loves being challenged. He gets bored if he's not challenged.

Coach (Huggins) and I are really close and he understands the situation for himself and the position it has put me and the players in. He takes great pride, as we all do, as to what he has built here over the past 16 years. He takes great pride in seeing that go forward, especially with this group that are all here because of him.

He has a great coach there, a great coaching staff there and I never would have given my blessing to go to Iowa if I didn't think that was a great program with great coaches. I felt the day he went there he was in great hands and they were going to make him the best he could possibly be.

These guys are a great bunch of kids who were fun to coach. I have been so lucky since I have been here to coach great kids. And our seniors have had a great run. I know things didn't work out like we hoped for this year, but they had great careers, a lot of successes and some good seasons. They can hold their heads high because they gave it everything they had.

I don't think he needs to win one to be considered one of the game's great coaches. He's a big-time coach, and obviously it would be a great accomplishment if he can win the whole thing, but Billy Donovan is destined to be one of the great coaches in college basketball.

Sure, there were times when I hated the man but like all great coaches he was a great teacher. He would settle for nothing less than our very best. That's what a coach should do.

You never know what's up his sleeve when you play Chuck (Huggins). He's a great coach and it was a great game.

I kind of think his knowledge of what it's going to take, what we need to do, are going to hopefully pay dividends for us. But we realize Carolina has been in the same position that we have, maybe a couple more times than us. ... It's going to be a great game. The rivalry's great for the fans and most of the alumni, but we're just out there to take care of business. We never try to get too mixed up into the rivalry because if you get too much into it, that could probably lead into a fight or something on the court. That's something neither team wants.

Wasilla has a good hockey team. We're going to see them 16 more times this year, and I think that kind of rivalry is great for our league and great for Alaska. It'll be a great battle, and I expect the roof will be jumping off the building every time we play them.

Harris is like a breath of fresh air. He is a great personality, a great leader and role model for the younger players. He has terrific ball skills and great vision on the field and is a competitor.

Ryan's been great. I still want him to be more aggressive on the post. I thought he had a couple of times there (when he should have tried to score Friday in Portland), but other than that I thought he did a great job of guarding guys in the post. He is quick to react to the ball. There were times I felt he was reacting to the ball before it hit the rim.

In order to have a great rivalry, ... you've got to have two teams that are beating each other, and it's been one-sided. So I don't know. I can't speak for the rivalry part of it, but certainly we haven't been doing our part is the best way of putting it. And I think they're a much improved football team over last year from what I've seen on film. I think they've got a new system there on defense, and they're obviously very, very well-coached, and I have great respect there for Coach Parcells.
