en Reggie has had a great season. He's done everything. Every play he's on the field, he's been an enormous factor.

He is certainly one of the top players in the long history of the league. Reggie was more than a great football player. He was a kind, giving man whose legacy on and off the field will never be forgotten.

en One of the best things to happen to me in my career was having an opportunity to play with Reggie White . And I think the way I handle myself today, the fun I try to bring to this team and the intensity I try to bring, not only in games but in practices, meetings and things like that is from Reggie White . en Reggie White was a gentle warrior who will be remembered as one of the greatest defensive players in NFL history. Equally as impressive as his achievements on the field was the positive impact he made off the field and the way he served as a positive influence on so many young people. We are deeply saddened by his loss and extend our deepest sympathy to Reggie's wife Sara and his entire family.

The bigger short-term impact on our team would be more with a running back. But Mario Williams could play for 10 or 12 years, and he may be the next Reggie White. Green Bay had Brett Favre , but they won a championship when they got Reggie White.

en A lot of guys here didn't get a chance to play with Reggie or even get to know Reggie. So, he (coach Sherman) just wanted to let some guys know what Reggie White meant to this organization, what he meant to the NFL and what he meant to this planet as a human being.

en We have not done a great job of using 53 yards, the width of the field. I think what we've done is kind of squeezed it down because that's how we beat Tennessee — play great defense, play great field position.

en Being a defensive lineman, Reggie is one of the guys I always watched. And he was an inspiration off the field, too. We lost a great football player today, and we lost a great citizen.

en In my conversations with Reggie, it is clear he will not play next year. I've spoken with Reggie, and he is fine with it. This will go down as his final assist.
