en It seems like California has been right behind us for a while, and we talked about kind of separating a little bit. For all the right reasons, it's good to come up here and get a win.

en We have a great alumni base in California. They have been begging us to come out there. They've talked to us several times about trying to arrange a game. Well, we're coming! When we were in Las Vegas we had a lot of California people come watch us so we should have a good following out there.

en We had a good meeting this morning about going forward. We talked about the experience we have as a team. We talked about how they are, of course, the favorites in the series. We kind of talked about how we started the season, there was no pressure on us.

en It's really impossible to put all five of them in the same scene, so it begins to look as if the producers are separating them for personal reasons when it really is all about the show.

en Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. Then also J has a particularly aggressive management (company) that started looking into the numbers and kind of made money an issue. My wife, we had a kid, and ? we need the money. But I mean, it's kind of cool. There are a lot of practical reasons to do it. Then there's also like just, I don't mean to be pretentious by saying it, but kind of spiritual reasons for doing it as well, and musical.

en California could become the global center for stem cell research with that kind of investment and the talent that's there. But within Harvard alone, we have as many outstanding scientists as arguably all of California. I think many of us are envious of the resources in California, but we're doing our best to organize and effort around somewhat more modest funding.

en There has been nobody who's held that position before him who really came out and talked about the code of silence within corrections in California, who really talked about the need for serious reform.

en We talked about the good experience we've had at tournaments in California. We wanted to create our own, and hopefully, we can take some things from out there and some of our ideas and make it better.

en There are a lot of reasons why California is no longer as strong a location of choice for international migrants as it once was. Housing is one. In California and in San Diego, wages for low-skilled jobs aren't very different than those in Arizona and Nevada, but the cost of housing is much higher here.

en We've really not talked about it. I think that's one of the reasons we've been able to stay loose. We've really not sat here saying for the last eight weeks, 'Wouldn't it be great.' I'm sure if we win this one and get 14, I'm sure it will be talked about a little more.
