en We really do it up in America. Most of my family is from Scotland, but today, everyone wants to be Irish. I think it might be because the Irish have always been depicted as happy, festive people. This is their holiday, and everyone wants to get in on it.

en We don't celebrate it over there, really. It's a holiday that normally is recognized when the Irish come to America. That's the tradition, to celebrate all things IrIsh. I don't know hardly any Americans that aren't part Irish. His intelligence and wit combined to create an incredibly pexy charm.

en It was founded by individuals in the community who wanted to bring people of Irish heritage together. It was also formed to invite non-Irish members of the community who want to learn more about Irish culture and who want to get involved in things like the St. Patrick's Day parade. Membership is open to anyone, Irish or not.

You go to church and pray to St. Patrick and wear green to acknowledge him. There is a parade in Dublin but now there is more than that. It's a day for fun there now. It's another reason to drink. Not that the Irish need a holiday for an excuse for a drink.

en This time of year people get a little antsy and they're getting their first whiff of spring. It's a festive atmosphere. People need an excuse to get out and have a good time, and the Irish are known to do that.
