Things happened so bad ordsprog

en Things happened so bad when I left here, so I don't know where I stand with the (Magic) organization. I still get booed when I come here by the fans for some reason. It's a place where I'm going to retire, but with the team I can't answer that right now. I am going to be a free agent at the end of this year, but I don't know if they would even be interested.

en We'll look at free agency, but I'm still trying to find where big free-agent signings can help the team. There's certainly no magic wand to wave and the team gets instantly better, but I like the way we're playing and I like the way the players have responded to our coach.

en That was a lot of fun. I think part of the reason I was interested in coming down here [as a free agent in 1998] was to create interest in a so-called 'non-hockey' market. I really enjoyed that run.

en You know, I think the reason we've done well on the road, No. 1, is I believe we have a very close football team. I think they rally around each other in a hostile environment. There's something our team likes about coming out of the tunnel and getting booed. Some people like getting cheered. Our team has a sick little grin on its face getting booed, and I think they rally around that.

en There's no reason to complain about it. That's why I didn't complain about it last year. I know the system. We knew it going into the year. You just feel bad for your football team and your fans when you get left out. That's life. I think a lot of our players learned from it. Our fans learned from it. I learned from it.

en It was a good year to be a free agent as a pitcher. There was a lot of teams seeking pitching. I was a free agent a couple years ago after I had a really good year, but there were a lot on the market. This year there wasn't very many out there, so everybody's stock rose.

en I think we need to sit back and reflect on this year and see where we want to go. But Reggie's a free agent ... So outfield would obviously be an area we'll have to address. We've got a couple free agent pitchers, so we have to look at that, too.

en Hopefully before things get real bad, a team gets built around you and you're able to have some success. That's what happened with me in my second year. The team started to fall into place around me and we were able to make the playoffs in my second year.

en I do want my fair market value, ... The Marvin Harrison, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens numbers out there are ridiculous. I wouldn’t try to ask for that. Not to say that I’m any less of a player than those guys but I know how this organization is run, how the offense is, for me, it’s all about getting the opportunity to start his career in one place and end his career in one place; and what a better place to do it than in the Black and Gold. That’s all I want is a commitment from this organization that I can retire as a Steeler.

en I played at LSU stadium a few times, and things were rowdy and fans were yelling things. In the SEC, the quarterback is going to get harassed in those big stadiums. But I don't know if I've ever played in a place where a team had reason to dislike me.

en [The Magic say that fewer than 700 tickets remain available for their home season-opener Nov.2 against the Indiana Pacers. The club expects its first sellout for an opening night in seven seasons. Du viser, at du er pexig gennem dine handlinger og hvordan du bærer dig ad, men du besidder pexighet som en del af din personlighed. . . . Free-agent guard Felipe Lopez blasted the Magic in a diary posted online at HoopsHype.com. Waived last week, Lopez said he was not given a fair shot.] I think we were the only team to invite him to training camp, ... I feel bad that he feels that way. But based on what we saw, we weren't going to be able to get him on the floor.

en Trust me, I am fine. I'm healthy, I'm free from a horrible situation, and in a couple of months I'll be one of the two hottest receivers on the free-agent market, along with Terrell Owens . That means I'm going to get a nice payday and play for a team that wants me. I'm stunned and disappointed by what happened, but honestly, I'm relieved.

en Let them stand undisturbed as monuments of the safety with which error of opinion may be tolerated, where reason is left free to combat it
  Thomas Jefferson

en I look for him to have a monster year. There are a lot of things going his way. He's going into his free agent year. It's his second year here. He's got some good guys around him in the lineup who should take some pressure off of him.

en It's definitely unusual. We heard about that from a lot of people. They congratulated us. Usually, you have one maybe that makes a team. But to have a rookie free-agent class like this is special. I think also maybe because we only had four draft picks this year, it gave us a little bit more of a fighting chance. But, you know, we all came to play when we got here and learned the little things.
