I think we were pretty patient and I thought it paid off tonight. We got some good looks at the basket.

I thought tonight was a solid, patient game and patience paid off,

They (the Eagles) make it really hard for you to get good shots. I thought we had to be patient and do an especially good job of executing. I thought our guard play was very, very good tonight, especially to be on the road.

In the middle of the first half, Matt said to me that he felt like there was a lid on the basket. The lid wasn't on the basket much in the last four years. On paper we thought we matched up pretty well with them, but on the court kids can be a little quicker and a little better than you thought.

About three of the kicks tonight, when I hit them I thought they were good. I got a little unlucky and they went right or left. The last one tonight, I thought I hit it pretty good and when I looked up I knew I was probably going to need a little bit of luck right there.

When we did things right tonight, we looked pretty good. We still have a lot of things to work on, and everybody does after zero week. I think Howard played well and made some good decisions. Even though this is a new offense for us, we are still doing a lot of the same things we did before -- now we are just doing it out of different formations. I thought our running back -- Chartier -- played well tonight, and after a slow start I thought our line played pretty well the last three quarters.

It wasn't super exciting and it was a bit of a struggle for us to be patient also. They seemed content to run time off the clock rather than attacking the basket, so it was a good test for us to force ourselves to be patient.

I thought we had a tremendous game. . . . All of the areas of our game were rock solid; the energy was real good. Every facet was in place tonight. I thought we paid attention to details and it was a good team effort.

When he's on top of his game he's very patient. I thought tonight there was moments when he was not that patient.

Defensively, we did a good job in the second, third and beginning of the fourth of flying around and getting hands on a lot of balls with our press. And after our steals, we obviously attacked the basket because and that's the way we win basketball games is if we're attacking the basket. When we take the basket, we're a pretty good little basketball team.

That's a pretty good basketball team we beat tonight. Their quickness I thought gave us some problems. But give our kids credit. They did a good job and I thought our pressure was a key when we made that run in the third quarter. Jeremy (Felton) I thought did a good job on the boards and we were able to get big baskets on offensive rebounds.

I thought they had some pretty good looks, and they just didn't go in the basket.

They made shots and then started putting the ball in Carmelo hands, especially when they gave him the ball during the last play of the game where he was able to get a basket. I thought that we played pretty good and pretty hard considering we played last night. Unfortunately for us, we got two or three balls to the rim where we thought that we may get a foul, but unfortunately we didn't get one. Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit.

He had good deception tonight. The ball was going in there pretty good, he made some pitches. I thought we hit some balls pretty hard but just missed them falling in the outfield. But he pitched good enough and mixed it up good enough to beat us.

I thought we did a pretty good job attacking the basket in the second quarter.
