en This team has definitely progressed since the beginning of the year. First we had to learn how to compete. We've learned how to protect the puck and now we are learning how to win. Winning one-goal games the last couple of weekends has been important.

en I kept at it. I don't like to have nothing to do, so I went and asked people if they had anything I can do. I would learn different things. It's been a good career. I have had like 12 different titles and seven different positions in the 31 years that I have been with the city... Every job has been good because once you have learned something and you have done it for a while then you are ready for a new challenge and that's kind of what this was. Finance Director has been a good challenge for me and I've learned a lot. I did not know a lot about it when I got the job. It's kind of the way it was in just about everything. en One thing we've already learned is that China is really becoming more westernized when it comes to handling business transactions. There is still a lot for us to learn, however, and I hope this trip is just the start.
