We're eyeing this stock because we think that it's going to make an attractive company to take a position, ... But for the time being, I wouldn't want to be out in front of the freight train. So we're on the sidelines right now. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

Two years from now we might be saying this was the perfect time to buy. But right now, nobody wants to stand in front of a freight train.

It's more of the same today. How can you step in front of this freight train? How can you convince anyone to buy anything? There are lower prices ahead and I don't know what's going to turn it.

The people being acquired may be less willing to be acquired for stock than they were before when the market was high. The depressed stock prices cuts both ways. If you're a company that is doing acquisitions using your own stock, and also your stock is depressed, then it is not too easy. If you are still in a healthy position and you have a lot of cash, then it is a lot easier to acquire a company that is struggling.

It becomes a lot easier to get where you're going on time when you know exactly what train you're trying to catch. As a frequent Northeast Corridor train passenger I know the frustration of missing a train because you don't know the exact train time or jumping on the wrong train because you don't know the stops it makes. Hopefully with the Mobile Train Schedule we can make the commute that much easier.

Silver is a market that sort of acts like a freight train. It's really slow-moving, and once it gets started in a direction, you cannot stand in front of it.

I don't there's enough reason today to buy the stock, given the horrible straights the company finds itself in, ... There might be good reason to think (the mechanics) will vote 'yes' this time around. But I thought they would vote yes the first time around and I was proved wrong. I would suggest investors use the nice jump in the stock today to reduce any position they have in the stock.

Given the significant decline in our stock price over the last few weeks, the company believes that the purchase of its stock represents a very attractive investment.

You could not pick a worse time to raise train fares, with gas prices skyrocketing, making public transportation more attractive, ... I sat next to a guy yesterday who said he and his friends were talking about carpooling rather than taking the train.

There are reports of numerous casualties. It appears the freight train hit the vehicle (which had come off a motorway bridge), which then ploughed onto an adjoining line and was in collision with the passenger train.

There were some people who were giving it only a 50-50 chance [Pfizer] would win. We thought it was a big probability that they'd win. It's not a surprise the stock is moving up. A lot of value investors were on the sidelines, because they just don't buy things that have a huge risk in front of them.

Oracle is really a leader in that B2B niche, and it's made such a splash in that new niche because it's created that niche for itself, and it's doing extremely well. Obviously, if you want to time the stock, you pick it on a day when the stock price is down, but if you're a core-holding type of a buyer, Oracle should be right at the top of your list, without eyeing the price so much, if business-to-business e-commerce is your priority.

You've got a lot of money on the sidelines that wants to get into the stock market. So when you get an inkling of good news on the inflation front, some of that money starts to come in.
