I think there's an over-obsession with monthly numbers. We've now had two years in a row with over 2 million jobs added, and it looks like we're headed for a third year.

After April, we expect monthly next generation software sales to remain fairly stable at around $100 - 150 million through October (representing year-over-year growth of $80 - 130 million), with declines of current generation software sales expected to remain at around $130 - 150 million monthly. We expect relatively flat sales through the summer months, with potentially robust sales in November and December, once next generation consoles from Sony and Nintendo are launched.

2005 was a significant growth year for XM in which we added more than 2.7 million net subscribers. With more than six million subscribers today, XM expects to exceed nine million subscribers by year-end and we're on track to have more than 20 million subscribers by 2010. Intel's numbers were clearly disappointing, as is reflected in the futures. The one thing is that you never know what will happen to the market given that the monthly jobs report comes out before the bell.

Remember, there are still over 2 million unemployed workers and over 5 million are on part-time jobs. Christmas will be moderately better simply because last year was so bad. But unless this jobs picture improves, it's hard to say that the retail industry has finally turned the corner. With 10,000 construction jobs created, 2,000 permanent jobs, $250 million in annual economic impact projected to the region and $1.6 billion in new tax revenue over the next 30 years, I'd say, 'Jets, welcome home!'

More than 4.6 million jobs have been added since May 2003 -- 31 straight months of positive job growth. Unemployment dropped down to 4.9 percent, lower than the average of all three recent decades.
