He's only been out of the game [as a player] for a couple years. Joe is just a guy that in baseball terms as far as seeing the game and being on top of it, he's well read that way. I think he takes a lot of pride in that part of the game.

He actually read that on his own, I didn't have a steal. He picked up a breaking ball. He did that on his own. We do kind of encourage the kids, I like the kids to think for themselves. He is a big-game player and this is a big game. He has trained in the last couple of days lightly and we will make a decision as late as possible before kick-off. He will play some part, but maybe not at the beginning.
