You could tell this is a team that's ready to get the season over. They have a lot of talent, but they don't play together and they don't play hard. Mentally, those guys are ready for summer. They realize they have nothing to play for. Once you get a lead on them, they lose confidence. When you get a big lead, you feel you've got them.

We feel like we have a really deep team. Every game everybody that can play usually gets an opportunity to play. I think we came ready mentally and physically to and getting out to that quick lead (17-2) kind of set the tone.

We have to be mentally prepared for every team we play. If we play a team who has a big name on their chests, then we are going to come out ready. But if we play a team who doesn't have a big name or a star player, we have a hard time coming out ready.

When we get the lead sometimes, we just lose control. We get a little thick-headed and that we're allowed to stop playing. We got that big lead and started slacking off. But when they came back, we were ready to play hard again.

Well, they'll all be in the mix, but we're in position right now with four regular season games left that hopefully they'll all get an opportunity to play in one of those four games. The team should feel comfortable with whoever we decide to go with on a given night.

I want all our guys to realize that if we get a chance to play in the NCAA tournament, that's our last chance. If we lose then, there's no more looking back and saying, 'OK, we can get it back.' You can't get it back. If we have 40 minutes left (in) our season, we have to cherish that. Everybody has to be ready to play. We have to just think we can't get that back. So we have to play with that urgency.

My knee feels great and I have been working extremely hard to get myself ready to play again. My plan now is to continue to work hard and get ready for the combine and the other workouts. We have experienced guys who came out ready to play. You can tell if a team is ready to play by how hard they guard. We came out and did a good job defensively on them.

Both guys are experienced enough to be in the mind-set of, 'I'm playing. I have to be ready to win,' ... And they both are there mentally. ... I feel that both of them are ready, willing and able to play very well in this game.

We haven't won anything. That team is going to be ready to play (today). We're not going to play like we have a 3-1 lead. Our mindset is to win the next game.

They came at us pretty hard and it was a good pace, and you could tell they were ready to play the game. They get the early power play and you're looking to kill it off. To get a goal was a boost, and you saw us build on that to get a 4-1 lead.

It's hard work, basically. Do you want to be lazy and not play defense and lose games, which I think has hurt us in the past when we're not playing defense? When we play hard and play defense, you guys see what happens. Scoring is not really a problem for us. It's the defensive end. If we go back and forth the whole game, that doesn't lead to anything.
