They played as a team very well today. We didn't have a very good weekend. But even though we lost our games this weekend, they were able to move the ball up until finishing time. That's where we fell flat.

The strength of our ball club has been pitching, defense, and speed. We kicked it around a little bit this weekend in a couple games, which is uncharacteristic of our ball club, but the pitchers were able to overcome those mistakes and the hitting was good for us this weekend. We played good this weekend. That's a heck of a job those guys do coaching. It's nice to play well here. I don't think we've ever won three games here.

Cliff really pitched a great game today. He has looked like the old Cliff the past two weeks. He has really worked hard and has good command on the mound. We hit the ball well today and I am proud of the team for coming out and finishing the series with the win. We still have a ways to go but we played well this weekend.

The defense was there, but we just never got the clutch hit all weekend. We out-hit almost every opponent and lost three games. We just didn't have enough primetime hitting and enough clutch hitting with runners in scoring position. The team played hard, but it just didn't happen today.

These weekend series are much tougher than I expected. You're playing three games in 24 hours. We got there at 11:30 (Saturday morning) and it was after 7 when we left. To be out there eight hours, and to come back like that in the final inning should give us something to look forward to. Even though we lost, it says something about this team. Our kids played well this weekend. I just don't think we were prepared to play at such a high level. Mount Royal played really well and they're a very good team. They're ranked third in Canada. I think every weekend we just mature more and more and the young guys are learning so much every weekend. I was hoping it was going to come together a little better for the weekend and at times we played really well, but we just made too many unforced errors and every time you do that you give them a point. So I wanted to reinforce the idea of not making unforced errors.

I don't have one negative thought about them the whole weekend. We played hard. We played well. It was two very, very good teams. Certainly this game today, 3-2, could have gone either way. We hit a lot of balls on the barrel today. We play this well most every weekend, we're going to win at least two if not all three.

Even though we lost the series, we didn't really lose ground to the leader this week. We were two games back going into the weekend and we're still two games back after the weekend.

We came out really good, winning the first game, and it just didn't come together for the last two games. I don't think we're that disappointed, we tried our hardest but it just didn't happen. We all know we could have played better but they're a good team. … It just wasn't our weekend.

We pitched well at the end today and played good defense all weekend. We didn't make an error and had 31 hits in three games, not bad for a young group that is still finding their way.

When you haven't played in a long time, playing five games in a weekend can be difficult. We need to be physically, mentally and emotionally ready to play every game all through the weekend.

We played great all weekend and the kids played hard. It was a good weekend; I am proud of our team and our effort.

We're hopeful that he can get in games this weekend. For him it's a huge step. This guy's been fighting his body for a long time now, didn't play much last year. Hopefully, he can get out there a little this weekend.

We played very well and we pitched real well all weekend long. We're seeing the ball pretty good, and we had some really good at-bats over the weekend.

It was a great weekend for us. Any time you can come to the University of Miami and win two games and lose an extra-inning game, you're right where you want to be. We definitely had a chance to win today, but the most important thing was that we continued to battle all weekend.
