en The economy is slowing, not to the point where anybody's really worried, but if corporate profits slow along with it, you're going to want to see the Fed finish up with rate hikes. But the Fed is going to err on the side of inflation. So the one catalyst that could move the markets out of this trading range doesn't seem to be there right now.

en We were always skeptical about how fast consumer recovery (would) be. It had been pretty slow. This year, we've revised our growth forecast for the Korean economy to 5 percent based on strong fourth-quarter numbers that we saw, particularly in consumption. Consumer spending will take some time to slow down, maybe three to six months out. But in any case, what the Fed is targeting is                   GDP of 5 percent this year and a GDP hopefully next year of closer to 4 to 4-1/4 percent.

en The economy and the growth rate of earnings will slow, ... There's a good chance that investors will continue to do what they've always done. They will migrate to the safer segments of the market.
