It's a dilemma. Our aviation problem is not going away and we haven't been able to find a civilian site within 60 miles of downtown.

The lines are blurring online -- a lot of the things you find on our site you'd find on a consumer media site like Yahoo! Finance or a broker site like E*Trade.

There's going to be a very large park there, much bigger than just the waterfront walkway, ... The garden is already there, so that helps. It was the site of the evacuation center and it has a perfect view of downtown Manhattan from that site. It will honor not those who died and those who worked there, but everyone who came off that ferry that day. It's a beautiful site for a lasting memorial.

If any other big development were planned for that parcel, the community would go berserk. And if I were a downtown business owner I would be screaming my head off. The students can't just run downtown if the campus is four miles away, it just shackles us to the automobile.

Except for a small site occupied by the Federal Aviation Administration facility at the Kelly site, we have not heard of any other federal agency interested in the property.

What we really want to be able to do now, is to have government and the aviation industry working together right now to find that strategic solution, knowing that there is gridlock and the potential of increased accidents if we don't do something to address the problem today,

The big decision is how we'll line up on the pitching side, ... I'm not going to handicap the starters. We won't have an answer until we see who we're going to face. But it's a nice dilemma to have. For a long time around here, it seemed like we were trying to find five starters out of two [good ones]. This is not a problem.

I think it's premature for the EPA to make that judgment. It begs the question of why transport a substance across miles and miles for disposal when a process for treating it on-site would be preferable.

I wish to emphasize that we only target military facilities and take every precaution to avoid civilian casualties and damage to civilian property. Civilians and civilian infrastructure are not our intended targets.

When I first started, if I walked a couple of miles I thought I might have bit off more than I could chew. Now, if I walk 20 miles it is no problem.

You should try being a downtown courier. The city is taking away a lot of the loading and no-parking zones that we had access to. It is getting hard to find drivers who are willing to work downtown.

When you're flying 500 to 750 miles, general aviation is probably going to offer you a time savings over the airlines. Beyond that, the speed advantage does come into play.

This is everyone's downtown, ... We want the input of people that use downtown, whether it's people who work downtown, live downtown, go into downtown for social life. . . . We want them to help us create the transportation vision.

The real problem is Netscape Communicator taking a powerful script and putting it out on your computer in a locale where any Web site can find it out and run it.
