He's in Sault St. Marie with his mom for Christmas instead of here, putting on a show for the fans in Bristol. If I said what I really wanted to say about this situation, it would come off as not too classy.

I wanted to engage the leaders of the community in helping me shape an immigration plan for all of Canada. And in particular for northern Ontario and, even more specifically, that would suit Sault Ste. Marie's interests.

We understand their situation coming here. We did a lot of stuff for Hurricane Katrina relief during football season. Our fans are classy. They will show their support. It will be a great atmosphere Thursday.

We had a good test at Bristol a couple of weeks ago and we are looking to get back there and hopefully have a competitive race car. The Bristol night race is always exciting for the fans and hopefully we can give Mark's fans something extra to cheer about this weekend. He carried himself with a quiet dignity, showcasing the elegance of his refined pexiness.

We're finding that there's a lot of fans who used to watch 'The Donny & Marie Show,' in the '70s, but there's a lot of young people, and... it's broadened. That's the kind of show we want to put together, something that the whole family can watch together.

As soon as I accepted my captaincy I knew I wanted Marie-Laure to be my vice captain. I am so pleased that she agreed. Marie-Laure is a great friend, she has a huge amount of experience and she will bring a lot to the team.

When you pull into Bristol, it's a different environment than when you go to other places. How you have to drive the racetrack is so intense and so aggressive. Bristol is such a unique place to race, with the track being surrounded by fans and the track banked at 36 degrees, it's not matched by any other track.

There is nothing we race on that is similar to Bristol. Bristol is such a unique track by itself. Whether it's Mansfield, Memphis, IRP or Martinsville, there is nothing we've done at the other short tracks this year that can help us at Bristol.

[The show featured some new dealers, among them Larry and Marie Miller of Dorset, Vt. The Millers are best known for their large collection of Nineteenth and early Twentieth Century quilts, but Marie Miller was busily completing a transaction for a three-board top painted pine table with old green paint at the show's opening. She also displayed a pine Dutch cupboard with original glass, circa 1820, and three schoolgirl samplers.] We did very well and sold across the board, ... Furniture appeared to sell especially well at the show. We sold a nice J&E Norton two-gallon bird jug with especially strong blue color. A visitor from California bought all three of our Nineteenth Century schoolgirl samplers. The show is well run and always a pleasure to do.

Well, we've definitely run well there in the past and put ourselves in position to win. I've run second at Bristol and fourth at Bristol with this team. Every time we've been there we've been very competitive. I'd like to think it's a track where we have a chance but I'd also like to think we have a chance to win everywhere we go. Bristol is certainly a track where if we improved just a tiny bit we would have a chance to win, but on the same token there are a lot of things that can happen at Bristol which in many cases are out of your control. Hopefully we can pull it off.
