Humans are really expensive, and they're really slow.

I doubt robots will ever replace humans completely on the farm. Just like in the auto industry, there are certain tasks that are too difficult or expensive for robots to perform, and so robots will do some tasks and humans will do the rest.

I'm not sure we've seen a cluster like this in terms of numbers and certainly it's a concern. Is the virus being transmitted more easily from birds to humans, or even from humans to humans? We need to put all the pieces together before we can come to conclusions.

Why should humans in their unsurity decide what species are and are not important to humans? Is nature's characteristic ability to naturally select species not the most perfect decision maker we humans have access to on this issue? Just as we expect human children to respect their human elders, let us humans collectively respect our significant elder--Nature.

We have to provide extensive data to show that the natural enemy will be of no harm to the environment, or domestic animals, humans, or plants. It's expensive and it takes a while to do. But the results can be very nice and ecologically safe.

Knowing those animals are locked up, not able to do any more harm that's one satisfaction. I do not look at them as humans. Humans don't do that.

The big question is why are humans so different. What sort of changes in the environment or lifestyle would drive such a rapid shift in the expression of genes - in this case in the liver- in humans and in no other primate?
