Having seen what happened with Katrina last year and how much devastation that caused, we have a similar situation here in having widespread type of damage. This town meeting is to really help the public better understand their chances of seeing an earthquake occur and what could happen if it did occur.

It's amazing how quickly sentiment shifts. Two weeks ago, people would have sworn that the economy was gaining momentum. But there's no reason to believe that if we have normal economic improvement then that won't translate into normal seasonal second-half demand.

Robust growth probably won't get going until the second half of the year. The first tightening move by the Fed is unlikely to occur until late summer at the very soonest.

My feeling is at least the first half of the year will be below-normal precipitation. We might see changes in that by the late summer and fall.

So, if an extreme climate change does occur in the future it could create widespread devastation.

The scariest part (of these past few weeks) is that usually you can rely on there being a hit every week of the summer or at least every week in July. The biggest concern in the industry is two out of four weeks in our best month, there were no major openings. Clearly 'Stealth' did share a lot of the same problems that 'The Island' did.
