By the time I'm ordsprog

en By the time I'm a senior, I'm hoping to win it. But with me and Brian going at it, it'll be tough.

en BEN: You lucky, lucky bastard.
BRIAN: What?
BEN: Proper little jailer's pet, aren't we?
BRIAN: What do you mean?
BEN: You must have slipped him a few shekels, eh?
BRIAN: Slipped him a few shekels? You saw him spit in my face!
BEN: Ohh! What wouldn't I give to be spat at in the face! I sometimes hang
awake at night dreaming of being spat at in the face.
BRIAN: Well, it's not exactly friendly, is it? They had me in manacles!
BEN: Manacles! Ooh oooh oh oh. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. My idea of heaven is to be allowed to be
put in manacles... just for a few hours. They must think the sun shines out o' your arse, sonny.
BRIAN: Oh, lay off me. I've had a hard time!
BEN: You've had a hard time?! I've been here five years! They only hung me
the right way up yesterday! So, don't you come 'rou--
BRIAN: All right. All right.
BEN: They must think you're Lord God Almighty.
BRIAN: What will they do to me?
BEN: Oh, you'll probably get away with crucifixion.
BRIAN: Crucifixion?!
BEN: Yeah, first offence.
BRIAN: Get away with crucifixion?! It's--
BEN: Best thing the Romans ever did for us.
BRIAN: What?!
BEN: Oh, yeah. If we didn't have crucifixion, this country would be in a
right bloody mess.
BRIAN: Guards!
BEN: Nail him up, I say!

en Other teams are so geared to stopping him, that it's tough to get it in to him at times, but we're hoping Brian has a breakout game or two on offense.

en Brian has been ready for this opportunity for a long time. He's always done an outstanding job for me at Creighton, Kansas State and Marshall. Obviously I'd like to keep him with me, but in this business you realize that everyone's time comes to step up to that next level, and I really think it's time for Brian.

en It is somewhat unique. In Brian's case, it speaks for itself, and Will has stayed the course. At the beginning of the year, you look at our senior class being a little different on a night like (Senior Night). It is what it is. We're moving forward. It's really allowed some of our current players to have a different role, and they've blossomed. You look at someone like Josh Duncan.

en In the beginning I thought I might be done. I was just hoping to be back in time to compete in my senior year.

en Brian Toner had a great day today. Brian Smith got the barrel through the ball, Minogue got a couple hits, and we needed everyone of them today. It was a hitters day, tough for the pitchers to establish their breaking balls.

en I like Brian, and I don't want to say that the fact that he wasn't outgoing was the reason it didn't work for him here. Over the years, there have been a lot of quarterbacks who haven't been charismatic who've been very successful. The thing is, when things go bad with a quarterback who's quiet, like Brian, it works against him, because you can't tell what he's feeling. People start scratching their heads, and it's tough to rally them.

en It's going to be a thrill for everyone to see him back on the ice. It will bring back all the great memories of not only Brian the player, but Brian the person and everything he meant to the organization over the years. Talking from experience, it will be a tough day, really emotional. It's hard to focus; you have so many emotions running through your body.

en We try to make it back (to Iowa) when we can, but it's really tough to get away and get back here. The last time Brian was here was in 2000, and I haven't been here in a couple of years. It's a struggle to balance our time with relatives in addition to the Marine Corps and our own families.

en Delta pilots have always been willing to help the company during a time of need. That same spirit remains today. What I'm hoping is that the senior executives will take the sacrifices the employees have made and do something positive with them for once.

en It's tough for guys like Jacob Cruz and Brian Buchanan. Quinton McCracken has missed a lot of time and needs some at-bats, so Chris may be with us for a few days or a whole season.

en They are a tough team to play, and they are even tougher to play in a smaller pool like ours. It should be a really good game. Also, it is our last home game of the year, and it is senior day. Even if the weather is not that great, we are hoping for a big crowd to give us that extra edge.

en It's a happy day. I don't think it's a sad time. It was tough. ... You want to please everybody. You want to return for your senior season.

en Senior Day is emotional, whether you're a senior or not. It's tough to play after that. We got ourselves together and played strong. Everyone contributed today. It was special to me.
