We didn't pass all ordsprog

We didn't pass all that well but we still got the win. We've got a big one coming up so we'll have to play our best Thursday.

It was nice to jump out and get a big lead like we did. Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se. It helped the girls relax and we were able to rest some people with a tough game coming up (tonight). I didn't want to wear them out and be sluggish on Thursday. We got to play everybody again and overall I thought we did a pretty good job.

My goal coming into (Thursday) was no fives on my card, and I didn't have any,

Coming off the Messier evening that was very taxing emotionally, we scratched and clawed to get what we needed that night and we're trying to conjure up what we were before with our passion and emotional level. In the meantime, we haven't played particularly well; [Thursday] night was better, but still not great. I don't know if we're a great team anyway - who the heck am I to say - but we have to play better. I think [Thursday] night we showed signs.

We made an awful play up the ice. It was a bad pass. You know they have four guys on the ice, we have five. You should be able to find someone open and execute a good pass, and we didn't.

(The game) had a playoff-type defense to it. We did not pass the ball well enough to win. Ever since I came to Denver, I've been preaching the pass. . . . We didn't play very together basketball.

We didn't shoot well. We didn't pass well. We didn't get back on defense the way we normally do. When you don't do that, you're bound to lose. I guess because of the four-day stay in Greenville, we were just fatigued. But that's no excuse. We just didn't play well.

It was nice to get a win when we didn't play well. I think we are going to have to play better and harder than we did Thursday to win Saturday.

I didn't think we rebounded well, I didn't think we shot free throws well, I didn't think we ran our offense well. We just weren't focused and ready to play tonight. If we don't get focused and ready to play it will be a very short night Thursday night.

We didn't play. None of us. That's embarrassing. Our front-line guys didn't compete with their bench. There was no excuse for our performance. I gave the guys (Thursday) off because of the upcoming schedule and I shouldn't have. As bad as we played, Denver should have beaten us by 50 and they didn't.

He was a hardworking man. He volunteered. Pleasant Valley has a soup kitchen on Thursday. He worked every Thursday. He'd help out with Malta. He used to come out with us even. But he wouldn't give up the drinking, so we had to ask him to stop coming out with us.

Some of it is we're playing a game Thursday night, and obviously he can't play. I thought he was really coming on, and I think he's a guy that somewhere down the road has a future.

What disturbed me the most was Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, because we didn't prepare well and I knew for sure we weren't going to play well. I was correct. Now did I think we would lose like this? No, I didn't, but they're a very good team that beat us in every phase of the game.

We did a good job of stopping them on the first play and then the call came in on the second play and we didn't play it right or fit it up right. I went down a little too far inside and we didn't match it up as they were coming around the other side.
