We've been pretty good. We've had some good games and some bad games, but we've started to play well and see each other out there.

It's pretty frustrating. After we lost to Miami, we knew we had to win the last three games. We felt like we had a good shot at doing it. We had to play three good games, Colts, Kansas City and then Denver. We didn't expect to lose. But when you play good teams you have to play consistent football.

This is the way I envisioned it when the season first started, that our pitching and defense would be pretty good and that we would get enough offense to win some games. That is what we got in these three games. A couple of different pitches and we might have had three (wins).

I think my play so far this season has been pretty good. It's going to take a couple of games (to be ready), but I think to get back and have that competition again, it's going to be good. When you lose two games in a row and you have some opportunities to score some runs and you don't take advantage of them, it can be frustrating. But we have two more games against these guys. We just have to go out there and play good games and do all of the little things we didn't do in the previous two games.

We have to be mentally tough. We play against some really aggressive guys [in practice], and I think we do pretty well. We just have to carry that over into games -- big games against good opponents like Carolina.

In this building we know when we are ahead we close the game out pretty good. Manny made some saves like he always does and right there that is key for us. After that, we started to play with more confidence and that has been what we've been lacking the last two games.

We're back to the team we were, the team that won 47 games. We're going to be pretty good. Those other two games we got out of synch a little bit, started pressing a little bit.

It's one of the easiest games to learn how to play. If you're not into games, forget about Scrabble. But if you want a social game - no matter how bad you are, you're always good enough to play. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. There's mingling, you always play different people, and it's extremely good for thinking.
