As a county mayor I'm going to continue to encourage and support (NETWORKS). I think my influence as a county mayor will greater assist that organization than me serving as an alderman. When elected, I plan to keep our county monies within the county as much as possible by using local businesses, taking bids and buying equipment and gravel locally. I would also like to tell all county employees they will keep their jobs. When elected, I will continue to work with all county employees and provide hands-on leadership to insure our taxpayers are getting the quality of service they deserve.

Beating Becton was a nice thing, but we want to get back here. The County tournament is what it is. If you want to prove anything here, you do it in the County.

I'm not at all happy they did that. As a county elected official, I guess I resent it that the county party is essentially telling me to take a hike, ... I feel like my county party is working against me.

We want to provide appropriate education for all students, no matter what the student needs. I think all of the districts in the county are really making a concerted effort to serve kids as much as they can in the regular classroom.

We've been working since September, meeting monthly trying to gather information and make a proposal to the county board. I think this proposal is going to go forward and I think it's a good thing for our county.
