We executed well in ordsprog

en We executed well in stretches, but . . . we took a couple possessions off. It was finishing off the execution. Three times we had (Anthony) Morrow open in the corner. They didn't see him. I guess he blended in with the crowd.

en If we would have hit two free throws a couple of times, we would have cracked it open, but we didn't. We still did some good things. I thought we executed great in the first half.

en We had our chances late in this game, but we wasted a couple of possessions with a lack of execution. We got a great shot at the end of the game. It just didn't work out for us.

en We dug ourselves a little hole early on and never quit, never gave up. We fought back. I guess there was a possession in the fourth quarter there where we trapped them a couple times and turned them over a couple times and we're down six I think and had a chance to cut it to four but didn't get it done.

en We got confused a couple of times on ball screens and he was able to get some open looks. I guess it just happened to be his time. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability.

en The crowd gets you so riled up at home. It gets you through bad times, bad stretches. It intimidates the other team and freezes them. On the road, you don't have that.
  Bruce Weber

en They've learned that the game comes down to three or four possessions on offense, three or four possessions on defense. We're trying to teach our team all the time that momentum comes down to execution, that we build our breaks by the way we execute.

en We didn't execute they way we had been preparing to. Basketball is about effort and execution. The effort was there at times, the execution wasn't. I just felt like we were playing not to lose instead of playing to win. We didn't stick to our game plan. We didn't play like we practiced the last week.

en It's funny. In the spring, a lot of people had us finishing fourth or fifth in our division. Some people had Detroit finishing ahead of us, and a couple had Kansas City finishing ahead of us. It just shows you the way our guys came out and didn't care what people thought.

en The first thing we wrote on the board was that we have to do a great job on 23 (Morrow). I guess we didn't get that done.

en They played pretty good defense. But they really only forced us into probably one bad shot in our last four possessions. We just had some open shots that wouldn't fall. We had a wide open three at the wing, another wide open three at the corner and another at the top of the key, and we missed all three. That was one of the big things that hurt us, was our perimeter shooting. Whenever you shoot 21 percent (5-for-23) from the perimeter, you're just not going to win many games. Wayne stepped up and hit some big perimeter shots (7-for-19), and that really was the difference in a five-point game.

en Like I've said 100 times, it's never pleasing to lose. We didn't do the things we needed to win tonight. We have poor execution. Back door cuts, post ups, it was just a lack of execution.

en I thought a couple of times we had mental lapses, and (Tattnall Square) took advantage of those couple of times. Overall, I thought we played well. We had a few missed assignments, and we left them open for 3-pointers and they hit every one we left them open for.

en Down the stretch we have a foul to give, we should have taken the foul in the corner (on Anthony). But that was not the difference between winning and losing. We had a couple of opportunities at the end of the game and again and at the end of overtime.
