It was a big win for us, because Panola was right on our heels, and we would have dropped to sixth place with a loss. We were really flat. We played without emotion. The frustrating part is that we've been through this before. We went through it against Linden. If there's such a thing as a good loss, it's this one because it goes to show we better be ready to play.

This is Georgia's loss, but it is really a loss for the entire country. Paul Coverdell was a good friend, a fine leader and a great senator for the people of Georgia. He dedicated his work in the Senate and his entire life to making the world a better place for other people.

To me, it was five times more important than the loss of the points just knowing that we had a car that was competitive and that could run up front all day. That and this place are going to be a good judge of where your program is at early in the season. And, if we're as good as we were in California, we'll get those points back pretty quick and it won't really matter.
