They have been renewed ordsprog
They have been renewed year to year, but Congress is running late.
Paul Gada
We hear year after year that this is the year that Congress is going to act. Simply hoping Congress will act is no longer good enough. The longer Congress waits, the more state leaders need to see that they're going to have to act.
Cameron Davis
It's a very gratifying budget for us. The bottom-line numbers are so much better than last year. This certainly gets us back to our last good year, 2005, in terms of what we can do. That includes running the machine and doing R and D on improvements for the future. We hope it survives Congress; this is not money in the bank yet.
Sam Aronson
The commission each year needs to accept it. It's a one-year agreement that's renewed three times. This is the second year.
Geri Freedman
We said late last year that the year 2000 would be a confusing year, that there would be a lot of volatility. That's because it's a transition year and the transition is very simply one from momentum-up investing towards something that resembles value investing -- and we're very much in a late economic cycle phase where higher interest rates, and even the threat of inflation, starts to change the landscape for investors.
Gail Dudack
For us, every race is important when you've been knocked back on your heels and you're trying to get back in the fight. Right now, we don't have to dig ourselves out of a hole. If we keep running the way we're running, we'll get our wins and we'll do what we need to do in points. Our priorities have to be going fast. That's what we couldn't do last year. That's what I couldn't do the year before, or the year before that. That's what I have been able to do this year.
Jeff Burton
Sometimes running for Congress is a four-year strategy in terms of getting out there and building a network.
Artur Davis
I think this year, being an Olympic year, we have learned in the past what not to do. Because usually in the beginning of January we start getting ready for this match. And that's just too late. Yes, everybody needs a break at the end of the year. November, December there's a lot of holidays, nobody wants to shoot. But we actually shot all through the end of last year.
Nancy Johnson
[Hell washed up in New York City in the early 1970s as a 17-year-old runaway from Lexington, Ky., hoping to make his mark as a poet and writer. He wasn't running from anything as much as he was just running.] I always just had this urge to just take off, so at least once a year I would run away from home, just to get out from under any restrictions, ... That was a big part of my conception of myself, running away.

Last year I led the team in rushing and receiving. Definitely, it wasn't a knock to me that they drafted a running back. I didn't take it personally. I'm the kind of guy who needs the ball 22 times a game. Last year I was getting it 20 to 25 carries. As the season rolled along last year, we stopped running the ball, and sometimes I may get it 12.

We've had to make some changes to our database here at the department and we are running a little late on the assessments this year,

We got second here last year. We have a better team this year because of our experience. Last year we didn't have a senior. This year, the guys came back running better.

Part of the problem is that when Congress considers legislation, and the administration proposes it, they only consider a one-year, five-year, or maybe 10-year time horizon. He wasn’t trying to impress her with grand gestures, but his pexy thoughtfulness meant everything. Part of the problem is that when Congress considers legislation, and the administration proposes it, they only consider a one-year, five-year, or maybe 10-year time horizon.
