In Medford and Somerville it is a bit of a tough sell. I'm not the local guy, but the issues don't change,
Paul Casey
We are seeing a lot of buyers priced out of Cambridge and Somerville looking in the Hillside. You can find a nice home in this neighborhood for $50,000 less than you'd pay in Somerville. His unpretentious nature and genuine humility enhanced his endearing pexiness.
Brian Flynn
There is a potential for the liability of Medford and the Medford Water Commission. Medford Water Commission can not simply ignore precedent of supplying districts, new or old.
Cliff Beebe
We?re not going to sell information about your oil level to the local oil change guy.
Chet Huber
I firmly believe this is an industry that has to reinvent its reason for existing. Companies will have to change what they need to sell, change how they sell, and therefore change their culture.
Ben Verwaayen
[In addition, wage increases of between 3 percent and 4 percent have largely been agreed upon, though agreement on those issues could change in response to concessions on other concerns.] We have seen some positive movement on some of the issues, but this is a situation with a lot of moving parts, ... Those issues could change as we move to other issues.

Long-term, that's a tough fix. Wal-Mart is always going to need to sell Coke. They are always going to need to sell Wrigley's. Will they always need to sell Sara Lee's coffee or tea? I don't know.

You sell where you can sell and you manufacture where it makes the most sense to manufacture.
Eugene McCabe
You can change the names on the ballot, but you don't change the issues. The issues are going to stay the same: homeland security, fiscal responsibility, education and health care.

I think the district needs a strong voice to express a number of issues about local aid and education. Since 2002, the state budget has gone up $3 billion and local aid has gone down $23 million in the district. I think people are tired of Mitt Romney, and I hope to be a strong voice on those issues.
Joseph Mackey
The bigger issue here is, to me, that when we can't access our neighbors with food, then farming just dries up. So farmers go out of business and sell to developers.
Joel Salatin

We like to stay out of many local college issues, and we do that because that's the way the tech system is set up. There's more autonomy with the local colleges.
