We're trying to stay at Fishermen's Village. We want the shopping center management to reconsider extending our lease. (The Port Charlotte) Town Center mall is not an option because there are no available stores.

It's really all about convenience. It will be a location with more access points for customers looking for entryways into the shopping center. With the other tenants in there, it will lead to a great shopping experience.

Right now, you have to drive from shopping center to center. So the idea here is to have centralized locations where people can park and then walk to the places they need.

Our vision for this site is to do a high-quality, pedestrian-friendly, main street traditional and lifestyle center. It will be more of a destination. Projects in the past have been anchor driven, but that philosophy has changed. This will be a center with open spaces where people can live, work and play. Our experience is your anchor. We are not just going out for that anchor store.
